02 - Collecting audio reviews using SpeakPipe.com 🔈

Earlier this week, I went live on LinkedIn and gave a 7 minute demo on a brilliant platform called SpeakPipe.com This tool allows you to create a landing page in minutes, that you can send to anyone in order to leave you an audio message. One of my all time favourite strategies to grow my business is using the power of audio (whether it be reviews, or intro swaps on podcasts), and SpeakPipe.com makes this SO easy for me. VINYL RECORD OF THE WEEK! 

GRANDMASTER FLASH & MELLE MEL - WHITE LINES

Why has it taking me so long to feature this record? It's probably the vinyl I've had the longest (since 1985!!) 80's hip hop is special to me, so many memories from growing up and this is hands down the best! "White Lines (with the somewhat controversion tag line Dont Don’t Do It)," goes down in history with early hip hop scene like "Rapper’s Delight" and "The Message." 

This sampling sparked a series of musical innovations and legal battles that shaped the future of hip hop. For instance, "White Lines," primarily performed by Melle Mel, wasn't just a catchy tune—it carried a stark anti-drug message, set against a backdrop of compelling hooks and memorable bass lines.

This 12 inch vinyl version is incredible, and HIGHLY recommended for any collection!
